Privacy Policy

Who we are

The Trustee for The R's Property Trust No. 1 (ABN 80 523 122 501), trading as Drafting Central, Burleigh Waters, Queensland, provides mechanical engineering drafting and design services. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, email, phone, company.
  • The sketches, photos and CAD files you send, and your messages about the job.
  • Your client account details (your name, email and a password, which we store securely and cannot read).
  • Approval records: the date and time, your account, your IP address and device/browser details, so we can show who approved a drawing and when.
  • Basic website visit information collected through Google Analytics and Diib (website visit and performance statistics such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location).

Why we collect it

To quote and do your job, to run your client portal, to invoice you, to keep records of approvals, to reply to your enquiries, and to keep our website secure. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Only service providers we need to run the business – for example our website host, email provider, payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) and accounting software – and only as needed. We do not share your files with anyone else without your permission, unless the law requires it.

Storage and security

Files uploaded to the portal are kept in private storage and can only be opened by you and Drafting Central. Our website is hosted in Australia by DreamIT Host. We take reasonable steps to protect information from loss and misuse.

How long we keep it

We keep drawings and job records permanently as part of our drawing register. If you ask us to delete your personal contact details, we will where the law allows, but the drawings and records of the work stay on file.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are allowed to. Contact us using the details below. If you are not happy with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for logging in to the client portal and keeping it secure and for website analytics (Google Analytics and Diib).
